Specifications For Submitting Art

We can accept artwork via E-mail, disk and camera ready art.

If you choose to send your artwork via disk or E-mail please observe the following guidelines.

Always send a hardcopy of your art so we can compare the two and verify that your artwork is not altered in any way when opened (this can be faxed along with your order). If you do not send a faxed hardcopy, we will not be held responsible for any errors on your artwork. Fax # 219-836-9130.  You may submit a JPEG or PDF file to act as your hard copy. Include it as an attachment along with your art work.

Please put your company name, address, phone number with area code, customer number, purchase order number and file name of the artwork on all email artwork sent.  It is best to name the file with an easily identifiable name such as "ABC Company Brochure" instead of "Brochure"

If your artwork is unidentifiable, it will be placed in a temporary file until you provide us with the proper information to match your artwork with your order. We are not responsible for delays in production due to lack of information.

Please choose a file name that is related to the artwork such as your purchase order number. Please do not name a file "Pens" or "Pads". This makes it more difficult to match it to your order.

For faster service, please include the name of the application and version used to create the artwork.

We accept Mac or PC files. We strongly urge you to send all files in either .pdf,  .eps or .tiff format. These types reproduce most efficiently in order to give you the best results. All files must be appropriate for the item printed. Most Advertising Specialty items and T-Shirts require Black & White Line Art, no RGB or Grayscale files will be accepted. However, for all other items Line Art, Grayscale and CMYK images are acceptable. Files in any other format may result in a delay of your order.  If you have any questions regarding if artwork is appropriate for the item being ordered, please do not hesitate to email at artdept@anchorside.com with your questions.

If your art does not comply with these specifications, please submit what is available. We will make every attempt to convert your artwork to one of these formats. If we are unable to produce your order from submitted artwork, we will contact you and offer solutions.

Artwork is best created in the following software applications:

Adobe Illustrator, Version 7 and up
• Save as a .EPS file
• Must be a true Illustrator file (CREATED IN ILLUSTRATOR NOT IMPORTED )
• Convert all text to curves

Adobe Photoshop, Version 5 and up
• Save as a .EPS or .PSD

Corel Draw, Version 9
• If you create your artwork in Corel 9 please save it as a version 7 or lower because of the conflict between versions 8 & 9.
• Save as a .EPS file
• Convert all text to curves.

Macromedia Freehand, Version 8
• Save as a .EPS file

Pagemaker, Version 4 - 7
• Include placed files or be sure they are embedded in the publication.
• Include all fonts used.

Publisher
• Placed files must be included on the supplied media.
• Use the 'Save for commercial printer' option.

Quark Express, Version 3.1 - 6
• Placed files must be included on the supplied media.

Power Point, Word Documents and HTML files are acceptable however additional time may be billed.  We will examine your file and advise you before incurring any additional art charges.

We accept files compressed with the following applications:
